		About Us Goat & Pencil is a rather unusual shop. We used to sell things that we thought people liked. But that didn't really work. So we changed it. We changed the name, the colours on the walls, the brand of coffee we drink. We kept all the staff because they are brilliant. And then we started to sell only things that we liked, that made us laugh, that we wanted for ourselves or our friends or our kids. And sales rose. Not just by a little bit, but hugely. Of course that is nice. But what is even nicer is that everyone here enjoys being at work and is probably a little bit proud to be part of it all. So of course we are committed to customer service but we don't have to package it as something to try to remember to do, it is just part of our nature. This will automatically take you to the "Shopping Cart" section. If you wish to add more items, just click on the "continue shopping" button. If you wish to make a payment by credit or debit card, please check the details shown and click on the "checkout now" button. You will then need to complete the form and follow the sequence leading to the secure section hosted by Protx. You should then notice that the http:// changes to https:// and the padlock symbol appears. If you are shopping from outside of UK or Channel Islands, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You will be sending your credit card information via the secure payment system operated by Protx. Shipping And Handling We send all our parcels by Jersey Post which is part of the Post Office network. Delivery Schedule We will package up your order the immediately. We will normally post out on the same or nextday. Delivery is normally within 7 working days. International orders generally take longer. Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Tax Charges All orders are VAT paid. Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. Guarantee If, within 7 days, you discover that there is fault with your purchase, please telephone 01534 632173 (+44 1534 632173) to book-in a return of the goods. You will need to use the original packaging materials and once goods have been received back & checked a full refund (including any delivery costs) will be issued. Returns Policy We are here to help. So we've sent you the wrong item. We will sort it out for you and there will be no chocolate biscuits in the office for a week. We are only happy if you are happy. Hence no biscuits. What if it is damaged? Same again - we'll sort it out. We do that at the Goat & Pencil. How about the other and rather unlikely scenario when you've ordered the wrong thing. Well you have to take some of the pain so it will cost you a little bit to post it back to us (in its original packaging), but we'll then give you a refund for the goods.
